Founder

Keren Goldenberg

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Keren Khait Goldenberg, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a PhD candidate in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, and the founder and clinical supervisor at Sunray Psychotherapy. She specializes in Complex Trauma, Generational Trauma, and the Stressors that come with Life, especially for High Achievers stretched thin across career, relationships, family, and parenthood.

Her clinical approach integrates Jungian depth psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR. Rather than offering quick fixes or pathologizing ambition, Keren focuses on lasting integration: helping humans understand their emotional world, work through the inner critic and impostor syndrome, and reconnect with a fuller, more honest relationship with the whole Self.

Her doctoral research examines how collective trauma imprints across generations, with a specific focus on the intergenerational and ongoing impact of antisemitism. She is especially passionate about working with first-generation Americans and child immigrants who know what it means to live between two worlds, because that is her story too.

For Jewish clients: כאן זה מקום בטוח בשבילך. This is a safe place for you. Jewish-affirming care, named rather than implied.

A message from Keren

Hi there,

Let us first acknowledge that sometimes, taking the step towards therapy is hard. And I am not going to lie to you, the process is sometimes even harder. But what comes on the other side of that, and the journey itself, is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourself.

My work with clients is rooted in Depth Psychology, the study of the unconscious. My passion for this work came from my own past and ongoing pain. Through my own ongoing journey, I found the passion for this work.

In addition to complex trauma, I specialize in intergenerational trauma. That passion comes from the stories I heard growing up. My great grandmothers would tell me about the Holocaust, my grandparents and parents would share about the antisemitism they experienced living in Ukraine. Currently I am researching the intergenerational impacts of Soviet antisemitism, and the parallels it has to the current American Jewish experience. I apply my knowledge to individuals from all backgrounds, as the trauma may be different, but the impact parallels across the different minority and immigrant experiences.

A course of sessions with me looks different for every person. Some people come in ready to dig into their trauma work, others need some time to warm up. Some clients come for a specific situation they are working through, while others are here simply to develop deeper insight into themselves and find a path forward. I challenge, I joke, and I am not a blank slate therapist, so if that sounds like your vibe, schedule your connection call and we will take it from there.

I am happy to work with you myself, and if another therapist on my team is a better fit, I will point you their way.

Associate Clinician

Leslie Buckmaster

Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker

Leslie Buckmaster works with complex grief and trauma, challenging life changes, and complex relationships. She is passionate about working with teens and adults who have experienced childhood or recent trauma, those who have lost loved ones, or simply stressed out and overwhelmed moms who are trying to stay afloat.

Leslie brings both professional and lived experience to her work as a therapist. As a Latina, widowed mother of two, she understands the complexities of grief, parenting, major life transitions, and rebuilding after difficult experiences.

Before becoming a therapist, Leslie spent almost a decade working with children and families impacted by trauma, family conflict, and significant life changes. Today she supports clients navigating grief and loss, complex stress, challenging family dynamics, and generational patterns. Her approach is warm, culturally attuned, and neurodivergent affirming. Leslie is EMDR and TF-CBT trained and offers spiritually informed practices and reflective tools for clients who would like to incorporate them into therapy.

A message from Leslie

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself. My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and often solution-focused. I draw from different therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic therapy and EMDR, and use them interchangeably depending on your needs. Therapy does not have to look the same for everyone.

My focus areas include complex stress and trauma, grief and loss, challenging family dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and major life transitions.

My connection to this work is both professional and personal. I spent many years working in child welfare and later providing school-based counseling and support to children and families. As a first-generation Latina, mother, and single parent, my lived experiences have also shaped the way I show up as a therapist. This includes navigating grief and loss, an interracial marriage and multiracial family, complicated family relationships, cultural and generational expectations, and rebuilding life after unexpected change.

These experiences have given me a deeper appreciation for the many layers that shape who we are, including our families, cultures, relationships, identities, and life experiences. I understand that there is rarely one simple explanation for what we carry.

In therapy I value understanding where patterns come from while also helping you find practical ways to create change in the present. I bring my professional training, cultural awareness, and lived experience into the room while keeping your story, needs, and goals at the center of our work.

Top Focus Areas

  • A search for meaning, identity, or who you are becoming
  • Childhood trauma
  • Intergenerational trauma, the pain your family carried before you
  • The immigrant or first-generation experience
  • Parenting, co-parenting, or the road to parenthood
  • Grief and loss

Come to Leslie if: You are navigating grief, complex stress, challenging family relationships, or a major life change. You may be noticing patterns from your past or your family that you do not want to keep repeating, or you may be used to being the strong one and putting your own needs aside. You want a space to better understand yourself, make sense of what you are carrying, and find practical ways to move forward.

Tamar Solomon

Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker

Tamar works with complex and intergenerational trauma, chronic illness, OCD, and maternal health, and the intersection of it all, emphasizing reparenting ourselves and healing attachment wounds, perfectionism, and people pleasing.

Tamar’s approach is shaped by lived experience with trauma, chronic illness and autoimmune disease, and the very real emotional weight of parenting.

Her style is depth-oriented, relational, attachment-focused, and integrative, weaving in psychodynamic psychotherapy, ERP, somatic and attachment-focused EMDR, and IFS for Chronic Pain, trained through the IFS Institute.

Coming from a religious Jewish background, Tamar provides culturally attuned compassionate care for spirituality and all faiths. Jewish-affirming care. כאן זה מקום בטוח בשבילך

A message from Tamar

You are feeling the pressure to show up as the best version of yourself. For them, for you, for work, for the world.

To put on a strong face and seem like you have got it all together, while something old and unresolved keeps pulling at you underneath. Never overwhelmed, never overstimulated, never letting anyone see how tired you actually are.

But what if we stopped the script? What if we finally let go of that inner pressure? What if we actually felt safe in our own bodies, present in our own lives, instead of getting through the day holding our breath?

Your worth was never tied to holding it all together. And honestly, the fact that you care this much about healing tells me you are already doing the work.

It is time to heal your relationship with yourself, including the parts that started long before any of this.

My name is Tamar, and I am a therapist who understands this from the inside, not just the textbook. I am passionate about working with trauma in all its forms: childhood, relational, sexual, religious, and medical. I work with moms carrying all of this while raising the next generation, and with OCD, because intrusive thoughts and inherited fear are more connected than people realize. So much of this work is about becoming a cycle breaker, the one who finally does it differently so it does not get handed down again.

If you are a trauma survivor trying to navigate life with all that inner pain, wanting real peace but not sure how to get there, if you want to work with a therapist who really gets it, I would be honored to work with you.

Top Focus Areas

  • Perfectionism and burnout
  • A harsh inner critic and imposter syndrome
  • Complex trauma or PTSD
  • Navigating antisemitism, Jewish identity, and belonging
  • Parenting, co-parenting, or the road to parenthood
  • Chronic pain, illness, or a medical condition

Come to Tamar if: You are the one who takes care of everyone else, who holds it all together, achieves, pleases, parents, or pushes through while quietly carrying old wounds underneath, and you are ready for therapy that goes deeper than coping. Tamar is especially at home with trauma survivors and cycle breakers who want to understand themselves at the roots, reconnect with their bodies and inner worlds, reparent the parts that still hurt, and reclaim a life that feels truly their own.

Associate Clinician

Dino M Vicencio

Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor & Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Dino works with people who look highly capable on the outside while feeling exhausted, anxious, or stuck underneath. Many are recovering from narcissistic or emotional abuse, complex and childhood trauma, walking on eggshells, struggling to break a trauma bond, or dealing with perfectionism, burnout, imposter syndrome, and recurring relationship patterns. Many understand exactly what is wrong intellectually but still wonder, “why can I not change it?” He also works with adult children of immigrants navigating family expectations, guilt, identity, and generational cycles.

His approach integrates attachment theory, relational psychodynamic therapy, mentalization-based therapy, and training in EMDR to explore attachment wounds, relationship trauma, shame, self-blame, and patterns that keep repeating. Alongside his clinical work, Dino is pursuing a PhD in Health and Psychology, researching the impact of artificial intelligence on psychological well-being. His previous research has focused on Dark Triad personality traits in leadership, intergenerational trauma, and antisemitism.

A message from Dino

I am Dino, an attachment-oriented relational psychodynamic therapist. I work with high-functioning adults recovering from narcissistic and emotional abuse, and with people caught in codependency, anxious attachment, and the effects of childhood trauma and emotional neglect. If you are exhausted from managing someone else’s moods, doubting your own memory of what happened, or repeating the same relationship with a different person, you have probably already named the pattern and found that naming it did not stop it. Insight is not the missing piece. What is missing is somewhere to work it through with another person, slowly and without being rushed toward a fix.

Top Focus Areas

  • A harsh inner critic and imposter syndrome
  • A search for meaning, identity, or who you are becoming
  • Complex trauma or PTSD
  • Attachment wounds and emotional neglect
  • Recovering from narcissistic or emotional abuse
  • A life transition that knocked things loose

Come to Dino if: You are recovering from narcissistic or emotional abuse, childhood trauma, CPTSD, or a painful relationship pattern; you are a high achiever carrying shame; or you are an adult child of immigrants living between cultures. You specifically want a warm but direct-when-needed, nonjudgmental therapist. English, Spanish and Portuguese spoken.

Nicole is also Jewish and the daughter of immigrant parents from different cultures. She understands the nuance of those experiences firsthand and goes beyond the Western lens when working with individuals and families.

Consultation Offerings

Clinical consultation with Keren Khait Goldenberg, LMFT. Five ways in, each one open to read.

Depth Psychology and Psychodynamic Case Consultation

Grounded in depth psychological theory, I assist clinicians with case conceptualization and treatment planning using psychodynamic, relational, and symbolic approaches. My consultations are ideal for those wanting to integrate unconscious processes, cultural meaning-making, and intergenerational patterns into their clinical work.

Intergenerational and Epigenetic Trauma

Drawing from current research and clinical practice, I offer training and consultation on how trauma is transmitted across generations, both biologically and psychologically. This includes support in exploring collective trauma, family legacies, and how these dynamics can be integrated into therapeutic work with individuals and families.

Building a Successful Private Practice

I have built my practice from scratch twice. Once through insurance, and again as a private pay boutique practice. I now run a thriving private pay practice and serve as a mentor, post licensure supervisor, and consultant for therapists building sustainable solo or group practices.

Working with Jewish Clients and Communities

With both lived experience and academic training in the history and psychology of antisemitism, I offer nuanced consultation on working with Jewish clients across backgrounds, from secular to Orthodox, from Israeli to Russian-speaking diaspora communities. I help clinicians develop cultural humility and a deeper understanding of the diversity within Jewish identity, the historical trauma of Jewish persecution, and how antisemitism continues to impact mental health today. This includes support for clinicians working through their own countertransference and cultural questions as they relate to Jewish identity, power, safety, and belonging.

Working with First-Generation Americans and Child Immigrants

As a child immigrant myself, I bring a deeply informed perspective on the psychological complexities faced by first-generation Americans and those who immigrated at a young age. My consultation supports clinicians in understanding the often invisible emotional labor of navigating two or more cultural worlds. This includes exploring the tension between collectivist family values and the individualistic norms of mainstream US culture, as well as the internal conflicts, role reversals, and identity fragmentation that can arise in the process of assimilation. I help clinicians recognize how these dynamics show up in the therapy room and how to hold space for bicultural identity, belonging, and grief.

Investment: $200 an hour. If you are brand new to private practice, six months or less, consultation is whatever your own full session fee is.

How We Work

Lived experience is not a substitute for training. It is what training cannot give you.

Every clinician here is trained in depth-oriented psychodynamic work, and several are trained in EMDR for trauma that will not respond to talking alone. We draw on Depth and Jungian psychology to work with what sits underneath the symptom, and on relational therapy because most of what hurts was learned in relationship and has to be unlearned there too.

CBT and DBT appear here as skills that serve the deeper work, useful for getting through the week, never mistaken for the work itself.

PsychodynamicDepth & JungianRelationalEMDRCBT & DBT Skills

That lived experience lets us sit with you in a way that goes far beyond any degree or certification.

You do not have to know who to ask for.
