Growing up, I had always been the one friends reached out to when they were sad, needed to vent, or sought guidance. Holding space for others came naturally to me. As I grew older, the field of psychology and mental health became more than just an interest—it became a calling. Becoming a therapist has been both a gift and a profound privilege.
Hi, I’m Keren, which translates to SunRay in Hebrew.

Educationally...
I received my BA in Psychology from California State University Northridge, where I focused on a clinical and therapeutic track. I later earned my MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, which allowed me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Currently, I am continuing my training and education at Pacifica Graduate Institute, pursuing a PhD in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices—because I believe in going deeper, both in life and in therapy.
Professionally...
My clinical experience includes working in outpatient programs, intensive outpatient settings, and residential treatment centers. These experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy—holistically, relationally, and with deep respect for each person's lived experience. I’ve worked with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, identity development, perfectionism, burnout, and significant life transitions.
My work is trauma-informed, grounded in depth psychotherapy, and often integrates EMDR therapy. I specialize in working with high-functioning professionals, creatives, and individuals navigating intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, and complex relational patterns. I provide therapy in California both in-person and virtually.
Personally...
I bring my full self into the therapy room and move away from the idea of being a "blank canvas" therapist. I believe healing happens in authentic human connection. So here are a few things about me: I’m a Capricorn. My love language is gift-giving. I’m a passionate foodie—sushi is my favorite. I love animals and share my home with a black cat.
I speak three languages: Hebrew, Russian, and English. My parents are Ukrainian Jews, and I was born and raised in Israel before immigrating to the United States as a child. My lived experience deeply informs my therapeutic lens, especially when supporting clients who hold layered identities or come from immigrant or multicultural backgrounds.
