Tamar Solomon

Meet Tamar Solomon

My journey to therapy began in the quiet places where trauma settles in the body, in the seasons of hardship that shape us, and in the moments where strength comes from surviving one more day. Everything I offer in the therapy room is rooted in lived experience. Nothing here is abstract or disconnected from real life.

I have moved through complex PTSD, chronic illness & an autoimmune disorder, and the very real emotional weight of parenting. So when you sit with me, you are sitting with someone who understands what it feels like to carry fear, overwhelm, and exhaustion in your nervous system. I am here to support you with presence and warmth while also guiding you with a steady hand.

The pain of old wounds and the long shadows they cast across relationships, identity, and day to day life impact us all. I understand the quiet hope that lives underneath it all. My work is centered on helping clients build post traumatic resilience, reconnect with who they are beneath the hurt, and create a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and truly their own.

I am especially passionate about supporting new moms and parents who are navigating postpartum anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, or the pressure to look fine when nothing feels fine. Parenting can stir old trauma, shake your sense of self, and stretch you thin. You deserve a place where you can be honest, held, and understood.

I come from a religious Jewish environment, and I hold compassionate space for clients of all faiths who are healing from religious trauma, questioning their beliefs, or trying to make peace with tradition. I speak conversational Hebrew, and can support English/Hebrew speaking clients who would like to work with a therapist that can understand them on a deeper level.

My style of therapy blends depth psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy with attachment based work. We explore the roots of your patterns and the symbolic language of your inner world while also using practical skills from DBT and CBT to help you regulate, stay present, and move through daily life with more ease. Together we make sense of your story in a way that feels healing, not overwhelming.
